Nanofiltration skid

Separates multivalent species and larger organics while letting much of the monovalent salt through, so the RO stage works against a lighter load.

  • Rejects hardness, metals and colour bodies
  • Passes most monovalent salt

What actually happens at the membrane

Water passes. Contaminants do not. Move the recovery target, change the feed strength, and switch between nanofiltration and reverse osmosis to watch the split change. More than half the reject is recirculated, which is how system recovery climbs above what any single pass across the membrane achieves.
